The Clyde ring has an interesting story. Jason’s grandfather Clyde wore his 14k yellow gold wedding ring for 60 years. That’s a whole lot of staying power that just couldn’t go to waste. So I alloyed it up to create 18K red gold, swaged it inside another 18k gray gold band (so Jason will always have a connection to his grandfather) and that’s how the Clyde ring was born. Jason will effectively be wearing his grandfather’s wedding ring just with his own unique signature.
And by the way, Jason tells me that Clyde from Bonnie and Clyde once spent a night in his great grandfather’s barn down in Texas. He suspects that’s how his grandfather came to be named Clyde. True story!
